  • Their phones really started to go down hill I bought the lg stylo 6 and had to bring it back after a day it ran slow and it was missing major features...

  • I saw this on the news just now and I'm very sad LG is closing their doors permanently. I still have my LG Stylo 6 and to me, it's the best phone for a cheap price, compared to the highly overpriced phones from Samsung and Apple.

  • do u think the rumored v70 and/or velvet 2 will be released by another company?

  • Well, shareholders was the magic word on why LG is quitting the cellphone business.

  • My LG Stylo 6 been acting up for awhile now driving me crazy at time .. Time it fine and other day i have to be reatarting the phone like 2 or 3 times. and frezze up on me also.. So it time to go with another brand .. Oh yeah it does send double text messages at times .. Then it also start to tyyyyyyyyyppppppee wooooorrds like thhhhaatt it annoy at times ..

  • This is disappointing. I have always bought LG. I am using an LG Aristo 2 as we speak that I bought in 2016. This phone has lasted 5 YEARS! Unheard of. And I'm outside all the time with it I have it on arm, in an armdock. I get rained on and this thing has been in a hundred degree heat throughout the summer. It still is going strong. Buy LG.

  • The lg wing, the phone I have currently was such an amazing leap in cellphone design i hope it encourages other companies to innovate..

  • wow, maybe i shouldn't give away that LG that's been sitting in my old tech drawer

  • Lg is the best im so sad.. Damn it now im gonna have to switch to iphone

  • I just bought my stylo 6

  • 🤦 AR-oners and phone websites like these are so hypocrites. Seriously, they always roast LG smartphones then now they want the piece of pie in so-called giving a tribute to LG, nah it’s all about the clicks and money at the end of the day. 🙄

  • Well thank God!

  • They didn't play it safe, big respect!

  • I' ve had LG phones for a long time and now have the v60..Great phone for the price. It is a shame we have to say good bye to lg smartphones.

  • Jah know i just got my v60.. LG fi life still. Not changing my phone .. Love it bad bad

  • Thank you, LG. You were my first smartphone and I loved it. Trouble was my entire family had iPhones and I couldn't get on their Facetime or in their group chats (pre-WhatsApp). So guess what...it took a few years but they finally convinced me to get an iPhone. I still am anti-Apple but it was more practical for me. Anyone else had to switch to iphone because of family? :-(

  • 💩

  • I have the LGV60 Dual Screen and I love it!!!🥰I came from using a Samsung Note 8 then to a A20 to a A71 . I am sadly disappointed that they are leaving the mobile phone business. I love the variety of functions that this phone has. My husband introduced me to the LGV60 Dual screen, our phones are set up different and even he had learned some new things on his phone. I will miss them.!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😔

  • Using LG G7 phone, Great Phone. Thank You LG.

  • what does the mean for the LG phone users!?? how long will it be until i need to upgrade to another brand from LG Stylo 5 android version 10!??

  • The guy who made this vid? Thank you...you said thank you and nobody else has. I was an lg fan. Ive only used lg phones and stuck with the brand..what the hell im gonna do now?

  • :( I always preferred LG over other brands. With LG you could get superior technology with better price. I could not understand how people at the mobile store where pushing to sell Samsung when LG had better tech, better software with better price.

  • Rip lg mobile

  • LG leaving will mean less innovation and less unique phones. Now we're stuck with the monotonous samsung, apple and chinese copy cat tech phones.

  • Sad

  • Ohhh that’s sooo sa

  • My second smartphone was a regular LG phone. It sucks for them not making phones anymore.

  • My favorite is the stylo any one of them I currently have the 6.

  • I used the LG V10 for almost 4yrs.....Loved that Phone

  • I started with the lg g2 and loved LOVED that phone so much! The g2 was the best in my opinion. Eventually i got the g3 Then I went with Samsung s7 and hated it... now I have the lg g5 with multiple swappable batteries. Sure LG took risks and in my book they innovated the smartphone in many ways.

  • Aww man 😭 I actually loved my last two LG phones. I am sorry to see them get out of the mobile business

  • My LG Rebel 4 has LTE capability. I bought it new and when I signed up for phone service the internet connection only works at G3 speed. I had to download an app to keep it on G3 connection only. Then I looked online and saw others have the same issue. It is 100% a manufacture defect.

  • I'm so saddened by this news. I've had LG since the LG G2. I currently have the V60 Dual Screen. I love it. What about any updates? Will they still do them after July?

  • I would literally prefer the pre-smartphone LGs with the [hysical horizontal keyboards to any smartphone model now.

  • Genuinely saddened by this news. LG refuse to sell out and dictate nonesenses like removing external sd card expansion as well as the audiophile's bff 3.5mm jack. What will we do now, LG loyals??? 😭

  • Still using my lg k10 ❤️❤️❤️

  • Had LG phones for 10yrs. They had touch tap first, No home button first, dual screens first. I never like Samsung or IPhones. 😰😥😢😭Will miss this phone...Please come back LG

  • im using a LG stlyo 6 right now i love the huge screen

    • @Emilious yes with the photo shop built-in pen mode makes for the best notepad and drawing experience when im doodling

    • @Ro Black I agree, besides, the camaras are really good.

    • @Emiliousman my phone screen 2wice as big as most phones out here and bigger then most expensive phones out here its almost a steal how i get 2wice the phone for half the price

    • Me too, the display, camera and pencil are awesome, I was so sad when I found out that maybe LG useres won't have support in the future because they won't make smartphones anymore.

  • My lg g2 (white) was my favourite phone of all times - some years ago and umtil my toddler, now in puberty, broke the screen for the second time. Yesterday I finally switched from lg g6 to Samsung Galaxy s21+. One era has ended. I was an unofficial lg promoter among my friends for last 8 or so years. Lg g6 is still a good phone (5 yesrs old, holds battery all day), i protected it with spigen case and it survived some really freak accidents without a scratch. But only 32gb...The premiumn Samsung is something else. I got it for a bargain when changing operators. If it wasn't for that, i would've probably still use lg6 until it fell apart..Now it has an horable title as the "primary backup phone"😁!!! RIP lg smartphones!

  • So sad i love this mobile phone brand, and i still have my LG G6 and the V20 !!!

  • Stock Android worshippers rejoice. As an LG fan all I can rejoice in is that they never bent the knee to stock Android. It wouldn't have been LG anymore.

  • There is no way I’m sad for a corporation I don’t own 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 Stop 🛑 making this corporation billions of dollars... and invest in your pockets not in someone else buy 👉🏻crypto 👈🏻and plant the seeds for y’all future not Corporation..🤦🏻‍♂️ last time I checked didn’t make a single cent with them...

  • Hope in future years lg would again bounce back with their mobiles miss you lg I❤LG

  • Very sad to hear . I am using only LG mobiles from past 10 years

  • What a bummer, they finally got it right with the v60 which is a really fantastic phone and it sucks even more because samsung is going in the no headphone jack no expandable storage direction Google really should have gone with LG over HTC

  • R.i.p lg

  • I have a feeling it will be Sony Next.

  • Ken hong should be ARRESTED he murdered LG..we could all see what needed to change and where they were going wrong so why couldn't he? Lock him up and throw away the key

  • Still own a G2 and it works fine.

  • I hope Sony and Asus can stay longer. For me Sony,LG,Asus is best underdog trio they make different from mainstream brands.

  • Mr.Mobile's LG good bye video is much better...

  • Shocking & unbelievable 🙄

  • I'll be surprise, LG phones resales price will just up, in years to come, when they become scarcity and less common. 😁

  • And now all the tech reviewers praise lg

  • LG Electronics just reported its best ever quarterly earnings of 1.3 Billion dollars. They were very smart to put an end to their mobile division which has long been a huge anchor around their neck. Well done LG! 👏

  • Shshsh shshhs like. Did you get bottom retainers like a teenager.

  • Gonna upgrade from my G8 to V60 and stick to it for years to come. Not switching to Sammy. Just wants to be Apple's little bro but android.

  • Thanks 4 this video. It was very genuine and sincere. I'm gonna miss LG mobile. Other tech AR-oners posted fake insincere videos when they may have covered 1 LG phone over the course of a few years. I was beyond disgusted. 3 tech AR-oners with millions of subscribers that i always ignore cause their videos are NOT helpful, they're always negative and snarky and just ramble on. They throw LG under the bus in a heartbeat.

  • LG had some cool stuff. If only their dual screen project could all types of phones somehow. It would have dominated the accessory market for phones across all companies.

  • They deserve better. Wish more AR-one channels covered their phones during launch. Why is Motorola and Sony still around? I don't know a single soul that has their phones.

  • Awwwww I am so sad. I thought they were turning things around since the LG G6. I brought an LG TV for the 1st time because I was in love with my LG V60. They took risks and kept innovating till the bitter end with the LG WING. Sad day indeed.

  • Loved lg v35 video mode and stablization and I'm still using it.

  • RIP LG mobile. LG V20

  • I was a diehard LG fanboy for years, having 4 straight phone purchases of the brand. I still miss the back mounted volume rocker. That needs to be the standard for all phones, in my opinion. My last LG was a G6, which I unfortunately had to give up on due to a terrible antenna. RIP LG phones, you gave me some great hardware and memories!

  • I still have my awesome LG Dare

  • Don't know why people weren't such big fans of LG. Gimmicks and innovations really distinct phones from the competition which more or less make the same phone every year with better specs. Sure not all ideas and features caught on, but you could use every phone without them and they still competed with the competition. On top of that and maybe most importantly for a lot of people, after just 3 to 6 months after release, the price was usually a bit over half the initial selling price (at least in my country), making LG phones relatively cheap & fun flagship phones. Sad to see them go.

  • apprill foll

  • I love my LG 30. It is extremely well designed compared to others. If, if, if you won't be just taking a break and resurrecting it in future, would you consider selling the line to a competitor. LG is an awesome quality phone!

  • I like LG way more than Samsung and Motorola. Battery life was amazing, far less intrusive crap. I'm sad. I'm going to jump off a bridge with my LG phone now.

  • I miss my LG G3, the first one to use laser autofocus to aid in picture clarity. That screen to body ratio was also fantastic!

  • My first Android phone was an LG Optimus Q which I bought in South Korea, not sure if it ever got exported though. Slide out keyboard, DMB TV, Augmented Reality camera all back in 2010! It was awesome until it broke a year or so later. RIP LG Smartphones

  • Bye bye Lg , Samsung kicked your ass enough... Waiting for Nokia now

  • LG Excuse me a little Try to come back slowly You can I am one of those LG lovers

  • Really weird though for a company like LG which has been into existence more than a decade... Am not sure why LG can't be equally competent when newbies like realme, vivo, oppo, OnePlus are very successful. You people produce one of the best smartphones and yet fail in majority of areas like UI,Software Updates, RAM and Storage...Every LG user in the planet knows these shortcomings and wats more funny is that u guys have seen the decline of Nokia and Sony yet you haven't been able to sustain. It's hard to believe you guys are unable to understand the customers mind when newbies like Chinese manufacturers are trying to outnumber even samsung on sales... Let me tell u frankly, it's not the mobile division that has to be shutdown, it's the marketing team and a complete rethink on the management is what is needed. If you take realme they are all over the place in any ecommerce, offline, online. Now where is LG? What is your marketing team doing? Are u still trying to sell a brand new LG K42 budget mobile when other Chinese manufacturers are selling an upgraded mobiles for same price. During Symbian's existence when Nokia was the king... Samsung was relying only in its Bada OS and was not even in the race.LG was also same as Samsung. How did you let Samsung win the race and you were nowhere part of the Race... It's all simple. You were never competitive. Ofcourse you produced some very good devices but very people knew about it... Onething that I liked about LG was that they never stopped Trying or being innovative when other manufacturers were busy copying their own brands/creating sister and brother replicas... It's so sad to watch despite trying you let it go. LG will still b remembered like Nokia which has a Legacy on its own...

  • 99% of AR-oners helped kill LG ...now y'all acting sad 😭

  • Yeah, bootloop, won't miss that for sure. Funny thing, it was only on their flagship phones. I still have my LG magna and it works fine. While the G4 looped within the first year.

  • Now its our duty to save other brands, so that they dont face the same fate. I just bought an xperia 5 ii. Next i will probably get a nokia.

  • Optimus 3D .. G3 .. G3 S .. K8 .. G4 .. G5 .. G6 .. V20 .. Q6 All never failed me .. Need to find another make now :/

  • rest in peace LG 🙏🏿 I was devoted from the G3 all the way up to the G6. each device marked an era and progressively just more cool with every iteration. they truly brought the kind of innovation that most phone makers simply will not go after and it's bowing out seems to seal that envelope. so sad in a number of ways. thank you LG!

  • Damn, LG is actually my favorite brand of phones.

  • My whole family uses lg phones... This is sad. And at the moment, I seriously don't know with what change my g7.

  • I was really hoping LG would release that rollable display phone it showed off before the company stepped out of the phone business. I wanted that phone...smh

  • They did some things right, a lot of things wrong and hence were forced to leave the market.. We sure will miss the legacy though👍 hope LG makes great whatever products they are going to continue making. MY DAD ACTUALLY HAS A BASIC LG PHONE FOR 12 YEARS NOW, AND YUP IT IS IN CONTINUOUS DAILY USE.😁

  • I loved my old LG Nexus 5.

  • Watching this on my LG G8X.

  • My last phone was an LG V30. It was the best phone I've had. I foolishly upgraded to a Samsung S20. Horrible phone and not as good as the LG.

    • I'm still using a v30 going on 2 years such a great device I never wanted to upgrade and before it I normally switch every year damn shame they are done btw this phone still works like it did when I first took it out the box and it's been dropped to many times to count it even survived being left on top of my car and falling on a busy Turnpike lol

  • I have fond memories of my first ever phone, 'Lg Dynamite'.

  • I still have my LG G2 Mini. Loved that phone.

  • Next comes monopoly (duopoly)of samsung and apple, welcome to the era of no headphone jacks,no chargers, low resolution screens etc etc.

  • They always made great hardware but software and features were poorly implemented and sometimes downright awful

  • You talk about how you will miss LG phones and all that. But even today you are just making a summary of the things they did wrong. It's so obvious you never used an LG phone for more than 2 weeks

  • Owned LG G2. An awesome phone, I've enjoyed it so much. Still works BTW

  • I think the market made the decision in favour of Samsung in 2015 due to the bootlooping issue and the S6 working well. Ever since then, LG could sadly not get back on top.

  • I've had every stylo

  • LOOOVED my LG V20, the last flagship phone to feature a replaceable battery, which I only just replaced.

  • it's about time!!

  • LG Shine to a BB... and then back to Nexus 5 to G5 to G7. Mainly with LG my whole life. I was starting to really love them when they started using the quad dacs. Made me really start to love music in a totally different way.

  • In my opinion LG should had focused on mid range and low end smartphones and they should have focused in markets like India , Pakistan and some african countries like the brand "infinix" and "techno" did , because the high spec market already have big competitors like samsung ,Iphone ,huawei ,one plus etc . it's sad to see a company go , who always brought something new ....

  • LGs software support was one of the worst in the whole industry. This lack of support made me and many others decide to never buy a LG phone again. The build quality was great though, a shame.

  • Been with LG since the Nexus 4. G3, G5, G6, V30+. Daaaaamn!
